hello, it’s me.

Julie Guyot grew up among the cornfields in rural Illinois. She graduated with her BFA in ceramics from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1994 and her MFA in studio art from Florida State University in 2008. 

She is a full-time studio artist and resides in Tallahassee, Florida with her husband, Clayton, and her dogs, Vito and Rudy.

*If you’re looking for handmade pottery, well, I’m sorry to break it to you but I retired from that business in 2019. But I’m still kicking around, making things and writing things and just getting messy.
